Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: December 18, 2024

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Ready for China's payment testing service ("Service") operated by Ready for China ("we," "our," or "us"). By using our Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

Ready for China provides a payment testing service that allows users to test the functionality of popular Chinese payment methods including Alipay, WeChat Pay, and international payment methods like Stripe. Our service is designed to help businesses and individuals verify their payment setup before conducting actual transactions in China.

AliPay Service Provider Notice

The Alipay services are made available to you by AUS Merchant Services Inc. and its affiliates (collectively, "Alipay"). These Terms form part of the Agreement and remain subject to the terms and conditions of the Agreement.

2. Payment Processing & Currency Limitations

2.1 Supported Currencies

AliPay supports only 11 currencies including AUD. Recurring payment support is not available through AliPay. All test transactions are processed in real-time but marked as test transactions.

2.2 Payment Surcharges (Australian Consumer Law)

If payment surcharges apply to any payment method, they cannot exceed the actual processing costs and will be clearly disclosed before transaction completion. This complies with Australian Consumer Law requirements.

2.3 GST Implications

For businesses with annual turnover above AU$75,000, GST registration and charging obligations apply. International transaction fees may apply and will be disclosed to customers.

3. Refund & Dispute Policy

3.1 AliPay Refund Policy

Important: You can refund Alipay payments up to 90 days after the original payment. All refunds must be processed through AliPay's system interface. Alipay has no dispute process—customers authenticate with their Alipay account.

3.2 General Refund Policy

Since our service provides immediate testing results, refunds are generally not available once a test has been completed successfully. However, we will consider refunds on a case-by-case basis for technical failures or service interruptions.

4. Australian Regulatory Compliance

4.1 AUSTRAC Compliance

For transactions above AU$10,000, mandatory reporting obligations apply under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006. We maintain comprehensive transaction records and comply with all Australian financial reporting requirements.

4.2 Privacy Act 1988 Compliance

We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles. Cross-border data transfers are conducted in accordance with APP 8 requirements, with detailed disclosures in our Privacy Policy.
